Ward was born in MonroeLouisiana on April 151976. Monroe Christian School served as her Christian primary school. For secondary educationWard was a student at Ouachita Parish High School, but she moved in River Oaks High School on the following summer, after her senior year. There she was on the drill and dance team. Following her graduation, Ward briefly studied at Northeast Louisiana University. Ward quit high school when she was thirteen years old and began modeling.
